Getting around town is difficult enough. Getting around Gotham City is a different animal altogether.

With ‘The LEGO® Batman Movie’ coming out in February, Chevrolet decided to create a life-size LEGO® Batmobile – and it is amazing. Armed with a total of 344,187 bricks, LEGO® Master Builders spent roughly 1,833 hours constructing Batman’s Speedwagon, which is featured in the upcoming movie.

The vehicle measures 17-ft in length, just over 9-ft wide and weighs nearly 1,700 lbs. Each tire weighs 100 lbs, and the interior frame is made from square tube aluminum. According to Chevrolet’s website, the iconic vehicle has a max towing capacity of 120,000 lbs, a 60.2L engine kicking out 20,000 horsepower and available 4G LTE Wi-Fi connectivity.

Paul Edwards, U.S. vice president of Chevrolet Marketing said that, “To work on the LEGO® Batmobile with Warner Bros. is an absolute thrill for us at Chevy.” Edwards added, “Many of the themes in ‘The LEGO® Batman Movie,’ like imagination, family and community, align perfectly with our Chevy brand values and add to the value of the partnership.”

Features found in the LEGO® Batmobile include:
• Flaming Rocket Booster
• Air Brake Capable Fins
• Fully Articulating Wheels
• Monster Truck Mode
